Episode Summary
On his first day in Korea, a young Mongolian man rolls his suitcase out of the airport. He has a studio apartment, but no essentials. At the mart, the rice cooker price tag shocks him.
Price Shock
"Too expensive to buy new..." He hesitates until a Mongolian senior at the factory shows him linglow. "Buy secondhand here. People sell cheap when they leave Korea."
Secondhand in Your Language
He spots incredible deals: a rice cooker for 15,000 KRW and a heating pad for 10,000 KRW. "No way, this cheap?!" He negotiates in Mongolian and picks everything up on foot.
A Happy Ending
With his room set up, he enjoys a warm meal at home. When you can trade in your language and neighborhood, starting out in Korea feels much easier.
