Episode Summary

A Mongolian newcomer needs a room fast. A too-good-to-be-true listing appears, but linglow's community helps him avoid a scam.

A Deal Too Good to Be True

Starting work next week but still without a place to stay. While urgently searching for housing on his phone, he finds an amazing listing: a studio near Ansan Station for only 200,000 KRW per month. Just send 500,000 KRW upfront and move in right away. His heart races at the deal.

Asking linglow for Help

Something feels off about such a good deal, so he posts in the linglow housing community. "Is this listing safe? It's 200,000 KRW/month near Ansan Station and they want an upfront payment... It feels too cheap."

Community Warnings

Replies pour in instantly. "That's a scam! Don't send money!" "That number is a known scammer." "If they ask for upfront payment, it's 100% a scam." Thanks to warnings from experienced community members, he avoids the danger.

Happy Ending

One community member offers to introduce a verified room that a friend just moved out of, and even offers to help interpret. Thanks to them, he safely moves into his new place. "I almost got scammed. The community really protected me."
